We have two exciting announcements to share with you today:
First, we want to make sure you’ve seen the announcement that JudgeApps is back in business. Judge Foundry will be using JudgeApps as our member hub, with testing, dues payments, forums, reviews and more living there. If you don’t yet have a JudgeApps account, today would be a great day to create one.
Second, in seven days, Judge Foundry will be officially live! So start looking for your crispest $5 bill (or $7 in loonies and twonies), because you’ll be able to pay your dues and become a member next Wednesday at Noon Eastern. The launch of Judge Foundry means:
- Judge Academy judges will port over their levels automatically
- Lapsed judges will be able to apply for reinstatement of their levels
- New judges can certify using the process outlined here
- Judges can test for advancement to Level Two and Level Three
- Level Two and Three Judges can apply for automatic and expedited promotion to Level Four and Level Five using this process
There are a few features that will be coming online soon, like gift memberships, additional Operations Track certifications, and merchandise, so look forward to more announcements about these in the future.
Exam review is being finalized right now, as we will have the following tests ready to go on Day 1 of Judge Foundry:
- Level 1
- Level 2 Rules
- Level 2 Policy
- Level 3 Policy
These exams consist entirely of brand new questions, written for Judge Foundry by our amazing and hard-working volunteers, so they’ll all be up to date with current rules and policy and match our expected knowledge for judges of each level.
We’ll have one more post this week, then we’ll see you next week for our big opening!
